In fact, ergonomic styling is just a shortcut that some product developers use to skip the step of true ergonomic design. A product that has been ergonomically styled may look ergonomically appropriate, yet may still be uncomfortable to hold or difficult to use; this is because anthropomorphic studies and human factors analysis have not been conducted to determine appropriate ergonomic form for the product.
