In just 12 weeks, Slingshot designers and engineers developed, prototyped, and released the Conair Aquassager for production. A very tight integration of design and engineering resources was required to convert the client's original concept for a water-powered massager into a manufacture-ready design on such a tight schedule.
Slingshot's unique and efficient 'Design for China' approach helped the team meet the client's goals within budget and on schedule. The program involved a number of requirements and challenges, including ergonomics, style and aesthetics, marketing requirements, manufacturing optimization, and a multitude of product performance requirements.
