Implantable Anchor Delivery Device

Slingshot PDG has the ability to deliver complex instrumentation designs. The challenge of this program was to develop an implant delivery device to perform a unique function through a minimally invasive incision. Due to the lack of visual and tactile feedback, the Slingshot team had to overcome various mechanical and conceptual hurdles to achieve a design that was effective, as well as intuitive.

Our team was able to combine mechanism design skills, a strong understanding of the surgical environment, and medical industrial design to quickly produce an innovative functional prototype to be evaluated by a team of surgeons in a cadaver lab setting. Slingshot PDG was able to productize core technology with their Medical and Industrial design team.
